Arizona

Hey peeps! Yesterday I had a *very* productive day in which I did laundry, put a new doorknob on our bathroom door and almost-finished my Aunt’s website! TRIPPLE YAY! Okay make that quadruple yay because when my boyfriend came back from work we managed to shoot these pictures before grabbing dinner at a burger joint called Ellis Gourmet Burger, close to Antwerp Central Station.

I guess I was having greasy food withdrawals now that we’re not having a shitey buffet twice a day – God guys I kind of feel like writing a post about how awful the resort we stayed at was, but something about that feels rather unclassy, and entirely off topic on a personal style blog, anyway.

On to the pictures!

The silver charm I’m wearing on my middle necklace is a little scale I found in an old jewelry box while I was rummaging through some clutter the other day. I cannot for the life of me remember where I got it from but seeing as I’m a true libra and everyone should be reminded of my upcoming birthday I decided to put it on my favourite silver (and only silver) necklace.

Obviously I selected the best pictures from the bunch, but upon seeing this blazer from a different perspective than in the mirror, I’m definitely chucking it out to get a new one. I bought this in the Summer of 2009 and lord knows I was much thinner back then. The intended oversized fit is just not so very oversized anymore and on top of it being uncomfortable, it really didn’t look flattering at all. So, added to my wishlist: A nice, preferably textured (because you know how I roll – more is more!), slightly oversized blazer. Kind of like this one from Mango, maybe?

I’m going to get back to my Asos shopping spree and start this lovely Monday evening. Until next time, friends!

  1. I love how you’ve styled this. I always have difficulty making a blazer look casual with a graphic tee, but you did a great job. And I don’t think the blazer looks like it doesn’t fit! And for me, I prefer sleek black blazers over patterned blazers.

Pretty Sharp, a no-fuss beauty blog
Look, I get it. No one really reads beauty blogs anymore. But just like Gretchen just won't stop trying to make fetch happen, I won't ever give up on the written medium. Because there is just so much more to good makeup, skincare and fragrance than how they look as a prop in a photograph.

At Pretty Sharp you'll find honest beauty reviews, news bits along with occasional fashion/style/personal related articles. No clickbait. No bullshit
