Fringe jacket: The prim and proper way.

Hey there peeps! As I stated in my last post I was thinking about buying a new camera to replace my old Nikon D5000 that I got back in 2009 when I started college (longest 6 months of my life lolz). We’ve had some good times together, but the thing was running on its last legs so I bit the bullet and bought the D5500. The touch screen is pretty nifty! I can’t wait to try and shoot videos with this baby. But for now, onto some pictures!

Bear with me as both I and photographer/boyfriend are still getting the hang of things. I’m definitely going to go back shooting in JPEG (I started shooting in RAW back in college but I think it’s just not worth it for outfit pics), just to see what that’s going to be like.

This is probz going to be my next profile picture on ALL THE SOCIAL MEDIAS! Sorry in advance guys.

I’m looking at these pictures and I’m thinking YES. MY JEANS ARE TOO BIG. These were actually the smallest that I got back when I ordered 3 pairs of 7FAMK jeans and even though it hurts to see them go to waste at €70 a pop (Zalando Lounge is my lord and saviour), I’m glad to see the results of the long, loooong sessions on the elliptical. Not too excited about having to go jeans shopping again though… I wish I could just shrink these because they’re so soft on the inside, almost like the Diesel jogg jeans, but not quite. The brand style ID is Au0150k71 and they’re pretty true to size imo.

So I’m not as in love with this jacket as I was when I first saw it on the model, pictured below:

One because my lack of edginess brings out the primness of a collarless jacket and two because I didn’t pay attention to how wide the sleeves are set, creating an odd oversized-but-not-quite look. It’s boxier than you’d think it is (best demonstrated in pic #3), but because I couldn’t get this picture of the edgy model with an awesome hat and cool shades out of my head, I decided to keep it anyway. You could say I’ve been having a bit of a #yolo spree, lately.

I’m off to either do the dishes, or watch another episode of Orange is the New Black! Adios friends!

PS: I’m only now seeing the fringe overdose, combining the jacket with the bag. Oops. #repeatoffender

  1. I think you are workin it!! Doesn’t look too prim at all to my eyes and I kind of just want to copy the entire outfit haha! Although I don’t think I’d be able to pull off fringe quite like you and that model.
