I didn't know if I was ever going to give retinol another chance after that debacle with The Ordinary's 1% formulation. But I was recently gifted the @paulaschoice Resist Barrier Repair Moisturiser, which only contains a 0,01% concentration of the potent vitamin A derivative.

I've been using it for 2 months now and despite my half-assed skincare routine (covid life, am I right?), I'm pretty impressed with the results! My skin looks brighter and more youthful and some of the lines on my forehead have disappeared. My worst frown lines, between my eyebrows, are gonna need something a little stronger, though. (Not going back to 1%, don't worry - I've learned my lesson.)

I haven't dipped into the Replenishing Moisture Cream or Restoring Facial Oil yet but OOOH GUYS 🗣️ the Soothing Oil-Balm Cleansing Mask 👏 is 👏 a 👏 winner 👏

After wearing my mask for a few hours, I feel fuuucking grimey so I have to wash my face. I slap on some of that THICC juicy cleanser (love that it comes in a tube, too!), enjoy the soft, delicately floral fragrance, let it sit for a few minutes, wipe away with a wet spongey-sponge and BOOM, fresh face. 11/10 would recommend.

Urban Decay has gifted me a bunch of makeup stuff lately so I feel incentivised to actually wear makeup even if no one but me, my boyfriend and my cat are going to see it. Before I try out the Naked Ultraviolet palette I REALLY need to fix my brows though, they are OUT. OF. CONTROL.
